Two months into my junior year of college and I’m still struggling to believe I actually got into a college… The semester has flown by and slowly crawled along at the same time, but all in all it’s been fine. I’m starting the feel the pressures that come with being halfway through my college years (!!!), mostly revolving around internships, where I’m going to live when I’m kicked out of dorm life, even the fun question of what I want my career to actually be. There’s also the added pressure of making every project we do count; I feel up until this point I’ve been learning the basics of making a good film, and now is when I really need to make every project something I’m proud of, not just to fulfill the assignment (something I’ve always been struggling with). Also the fact that half of our squad is living it up across the Atlantic makes this semester a pretty boring one, where all we who stayed behind have to do is school, work and bathe in our own pity.
Things are going fine here in the city though, besides the fact that I lose the Hamilton ticket lottery every single day…but it’s fine I’m not bitter..
